UK GDPR, Cookie & Privacy Policy
Compliance Standard: UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, PECR, CCPA & IAB Transparency · ICO Reg: ZC136598
1. Data Controller Identification
CustomersNow.co.uk ("CustomersNOW", "we", "us", "our") operates in full compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR"), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). We respect and protect the privacy of all registered trade contractors, managing directors, and domestic consumers utilizing our utility estimators and web platform.
2. Lawful Basis for Processing
2.1 B2B Contractor Accounts: We process corporate names, business emails, telephone numbers, billing records, and geographic coverage areas under the lawful basis of Contractual Necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) UK GDPR) to manage client command desks, maintain performance escrow accounts, and route matching customer quote allocations.
2.2 Consumer Quote Requests: Domestic homeowners and commercial decision-makers submitting quote requests through our public calculators give explicit Affirmative Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) UK GDPR) to be connected strictly with a single verified local specialist in their postal district.
3. Strict 1-to-1 Match & Zero Data Resale Guarantee
We enforce a legally binding Zero Data Resale Policy. Unlike public comparison directories or lead brokers who sell consumer enquiries to 4–6 competing companies, CustomersNOW routes consumer details exclusively to ONE verified, accredited contractor holding the performance desk in that outcode. We never sell, rent, or auction personal data to external telemarketers or unverified lead syndicates.
4. Payment & Escrow Security
All client credit card details and bank transfers are processed directly by Stripe Payments UK, Ltd. under PCI-DSS Level 1 certification. CustomersNow does not store raw credit card numbers or sensitive banking credentials on its servers.
5. Third-Party Advertising & Analytics Disclosures (Sovrn / Ad Exchanges)
We may partner with third-party advertising exchanges, affiliate networks, and programmatic monetization partners—including Sovrn Holdings, Inc., Google LLC, and programmatic supply-side platforms (SSPs)—to serve contextual advertisements, analyze traffic, and support the operation of our free consumer tools.
These third-party partners may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and similar tracking technologies to collect non-personally identifiable telemetry (such as IP addresses, browser types, timestamp data, and interaction patterns) to evaluate advertising effectiveness and deliver tailored commercial messages.
6. Cookie Governance & Global Opt-Out Mechanisms
Cookies are small text files placed on your device to enhance navigation, retain user preferences, and measure performance. You have the statutory right to accept or decline cookies at any time via your browser settings.
To opt out of third-party targeted advertising across participating digital networks, you can utilize the following industry opt-out portals:
- United Kingdom & Europe: European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) via Your Online Choices

7. Commercial & Affiliate Disclosure (ASA & FTC Compliant)
In accordance with UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidelines and US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) standards, please be advised that certain links on this website may be commercial or affiliate referral links. We may receive a performance fee or commission when users interact with partner services or pre-fund contractor desks, at zero additional cost to the consumer.
8. California & US Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
